Don't have much to blog about, 'cos I didn't have much of a life the past week. Haha. Spent both Monday and Tuesday at home, watching vcds and tv, reading. Went to sch on Wed for the tourism project, and had lotsa fun doing it. I think it's gonna be the 'funnest' project ever. Though I hope we'll be able to find sufficient time to do it between the corp comm and the comm skills projects.

Went to sch again on Thurs for the corp comm project. Then rushed off to meet Liz and diyana in orchard to watch narnia. The movie was really good. Watching as a Christian, I couldn't help matching the various events to what really happened in the Bible. And the poignancy of the events really touched me. For non-believers, I guess it was a very entertaining and touching movie that told of an unconditional love from a lion. And the use of the various mythical creatures were great; the unicorn, the centaurs, the talking animals, the whispering trees, the mermaids, the dwarfs and giants.

Was back in school this afternoon, for corp comm again. Denise and I spent abt 4plus hrs doing up our brochure, and we were so damn proud of ourselves after that. Haha. BUt, we still have a long way to go before completing the project.

About my previous blog, if you were shocked or stunned by that entry, the matter is over. I do not know if it is a good idea to let the matter just past, but it has past, and I don't feel like talking abt it anymore. But my friend and I are on talking terms again, and sth similar might arise la, but I'll just take things as they come. No use worrying abt things that hasn't come.

Was I wrong when I blogged abt this on the 20th? I guess I am. Because you're feeling angry and hurt, and I just know, that our friendship will nv be the same again. My feelings on this are all mixed up together that I do not even know if I'm angry, indignant, guilty or simply sad. I don't even know if I'm doing the right thing, writing this on the Internet. But if I don't, this matter will just stay stagnant at this stage because we will definitely not talk this out face to face. I purposely dragged posting this till today because I didn't want my feelings to crowd my thinking.

After reading your blog, I can't help but realise that I don't know you at all. Why do we always expect ppl to understand us, when we don't tell ppl what had happened? I'm guilty of that, and so are thousands of ppl out there. I don't require you to pour out troubles to me if you don't want to. I just want an explanation. Not some excuse so that you can get out of the situation. 4 years, and you can't tell me that it's a family problem? I won't force the details out of you, you should know that. You can post on your blog that you have a problem and you can't tell me that in MSN? Am I such a failure as a supposedly good friend that you can't tell me that? I'm hurt too, you know that? I'm hurt because you would rather misunderstandings arise between us than tell me the truth. I'm hurt because after more than 4 years of friendship, I realise that we are not "good friends" after all. And I'm hurt because despite the time we spent together, we don't know each other at all.

Because of this matter, I find that I don't really understand you at all, and I know that all along, you have never known me. Almost nobody does.

I have no idea what my point is, for writing all these. But I guess, that our main issue is no longer the matter on Thurs. Our problem is communication. I can't believe that communication problems exist between friends too. How on earth did that happen?

At first, when I started writing this entry, I was feeling all indignant and upset that you had made things out to sound as if I was blaming you for all the wrong reasons. Then as I wrote the entry, the anger wore off, and I started to feel sad because you kept so many things from me and we just don't feel like friends anymore. This is the first big quarrel that we have in so many years, and I just don't know what to make of it. I really don't know what else to do other than to apologize. So, I'm sorry. Really really sorry for making you upset when you had enough things to worry about already. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions abt your reasons which resulted in the misunderstanding.

I don't know if it's me who made it so difficult for you to confide in, but I just want to tell you to treasure Jane and Xiurong. You know, I even feel a little jealous of Jane 'cos you tell her so many things. I don't remember doing any significant stuff for you before, and I seriously can't say that for the past 4 or 5 years, I have been a good friend to you. So I guess it is my bad, for putting you off. Maybe I was too assuming, too straightforward, too fierce, too demanding. And perhaps I moved too fast, said too much. Most probably, I came across as selfish.

I do not know if this entry will help salvage our friendship, but this is my peace offering. Sort of. You might decide to avoid anything to do with me for the next few days or even weeks and miss this, or you might read this the very next day I publish it. I just hope that we won't let this matter fester and infect our friendship fatally.

And lastly, I have some self-preserving things to say. I might offend you all over again, but I need to get this off my chest. I won't deny that I was pissed off when you told me that you'll miss our gathering because you were feeling tired from work. I would never act all happy and nonchalant when I am fustrated that once again, there's somebody absent from the group. I dislike ppl to do that to me so I don't do that to people.

I know you're going to act as if all these had never happened, that this conflict had never arisen and come between us. But is it going to help? Will the problem just go away and nv come to bother us again? After your entry and mine, I don't think so. Everytime you tell me or us that you cannot make it for a certain gathering, I'm going to wonder if the reason you tell us is true or another fabrication you came up with to protect yourself. This time, I really cannot just put this matter aside.

And I know you're really upset with me, because I don't think the others were are upset with you as I was. After reading Cheng's and ur msgs on both ur blogs, I just feel so, I dunno, inadequate as a friend, because I can't put this matter behind us, and because of many other reasons. I'm going to stop here, because I've said a lot. I've a dozen other stuff to say, but they will just come out wrong. Thanks for you card again.

Had lotsa fun the past two days. So much that I can't wait for the next Christmas to come! Haha.

Went to my aunt's hse early Saturday morning to eat breakfast and to buy the stuff needed for our family gathering later. My sis and I went off at 2sth as we had to go get our bursary. Sat through a very boring speech by the guest of honour, then we called my uncle so that he can fetch us back as it was raining. Haha. Once we reached my aunt's hse, we started preparing dinner. The menu for that day was italian pasta with cream sauce and tomato sauce, mushroom soup, sandwiches, mee and beehoon goreng, and deep fried chicken! Haha, the last 3 were store bought la. This was the first time the kids were doing the cooking rather than the adults, so it was quite crowded in the kitchen. Anyway, my sis n i had nv cooked for 18 ppl before, so we didn't know how to estimate the amt needed. In e end, the tomato sauce was too bland cos we didn't buy enough and added too much water, and the cream sauce was too dry cos there wasn't enough, and my sis had forgotten to get the herbs. Haha. And there was too much pasta. Stupid right.

At least dinner didn't taste too bad, so it was alright, I guess. Nobody complained. Haha. After dinner was exchange presents time! It was real funny la. And our gifts are improving every yr. I got a very nice necklace from my cousin. After the gift exchange, we decided to play games. Played all kinds of the "chai quan" games, the animal game, wave, show hand, exhausted almost all the games we could think of. By 11, all of us were exhuasted and tired alr. And my cousin came up with this card "magic" thing to cheat others. Haha. V funny. Then without reason, all the kids gathered in the kitchen to chit chat. I think it is because we wanted to finish the left-over sandwiches. Haha. Anyway, we started talking. Before that, my soon-to-be-cousin-in-law had closed himself in the kitchen for a v long conversation and he seemed angry. And my male cousin said that he knows to the reason cos he had gone to the toilet in the kitchen and overheard enough to figure out the gist of the story. SO we started to offer to bribe him, threaten him to tell us the story. Haha. So gossipy right. That's the down-side of a close knit family. We need to know everything.

After that, ard 1230, my cousin's bf fetched my sis, cousin and I home.

Sunday was another fun day. Went to church in the morning and I got baptised. Didn't really feel anything, cos it was over so soon. But it was kinda weird standing in front of the entire congregation. Heh. After service and refreshments, was class. Then we waited for a while for uncle kim shang to fetch us to j8 cos we wanted to buy sth to bring to Stanley's hse, cos it's not real nice to go to his hse empty handed. Bought 4 pints of bne and jerry's ice-cream. Slurp! Haha. But didn't get the flavours we wanted. Nvm. Then we walked to Stanley's hse. We were the first ones there, except for Ian. But he's not counted la. Haha. Looked through Stanley's photo albums, and he has changed so much! And we found a guy who really looks like Ian, though he keeps denying it and feels insulted over it. Haha. Then the boys arrived and we sat down to watch an extremely stupid movie by Charlie Sheen, called Hot Shots. I think the show has been shown on ch5 before. and I had watched snippets of it. It's those low-budget movies that the boys are so fond of, like kung pao. Kept cringing at the various scenes. Halfway through, four of us decided to play cards. Played tai di and bridge. Then when e movie was over, we started playing games. Played guesstures, which is pictionary with a timer. Then some of them left, amd we played the toiletbowl game! Haha, it was so fun seeing ppl become shit. Hehe. And cos we speak english most of the time, it was strange hearing them speak Chinese.

After that, we had a break, and we played the animal game. then the ouch, very good game, which was crazy la. But it wasn't really fun, cos our reaction were all so slow! Then we played the continue the story with one word game. ANd we came up with this really sleazy and stupid story that didn't make any sense. Haha, abt a prostitute who likes to climb walls. Hahaha. And we laughed so loudly during the story that Stanley's wife who was at the bus stop opp their flat called him and told him she could hear us laughing from the bus stop. Haha. After that, we brought out the ice-cream we bought and distributed that, and watched keeping the faith. During that time, they started going off leaving Karen, Ian, daniel, ginnette and I. Then Stanley fetched us home cos they boys were going to ian's hse and it was on the way. So I ended up walking home from Kovan.

This Christmas was really fun. A lot better than previous Christmases. Happy Boxing Day!

I'm having my mid-sem break right now. But it doesn't fell ike that at all. Because i went to sch almost every day, for my project. I spend more time in sch now, than I did during sch term. Ironic right. The thing is, because we do everything in sch during the day, when i go home , i have nth to do! Stupid, but true. I don't have the software for the microsoft publisher, and we did everything on that. So I would either slack in front of the tv or the computer every night. And I get tired easily nowadays. No idea y, cos i sleep rather well at night.

Anyway, met up with Cheng, Flo and Candy yday night for dinner. There were 6 of us orginally, but they couldn't make it, so left 4 of us. Went to coffee club at raffles city. We said to meet at 7, but I could only leave sch at 6sth and as expected, there was a jam along the highway, so i met them at 7.50? Lucky they were still queueing for seats and had not gone in yet. Sadly, only Sharon, Shirley and Sharifah were working yday. The others were all the new part-timers. So didn't know them.

I finally got to eat warm salmon salad! Haha, and it was nice. Didn't manage to eat fondue.. cos sold out....... Candy was down on luck too, cos she wanted to eat stuff with strawberries, and the strawberry romanoff and strawberry shortcake was sold out. Haha.

After eating, we went shopping, but most of the shops were closed, so we walked ard aimlessly. Saw that mango was still open, so we went in. Everything was on sale. Shopped till 2230. So I decided to wait for shirley to end work so we can go home together. And we waited half an hr for the stupid bus to come. That was the longest time lo. And we started discussing what would have happened to the bus or the driver that the bus would be half an hr late...

Reached home at 12sth, and cooked the tang yuan to eat. Didn't finish the tang yuans la, but the ginger soup was super shiok, cos my mum put a lot of ginger. Haha.

I can't wait for the weekend to come. Cos it's Chrismas!! Haha. And it's doubly precious and meaningful this yr cos of my baptism. And i'm anticipating lots of fun with my family and friends.
I love Christmas songs, because they always manage to mean sth to me. As in, regardless of religious Christmas songs like Hark the Herald Angels Sing, or others like let it snow, I just think that the composer or writer meant sth when they were writing them. And i always get high when I hear Christmas songs. Haha. Mayb it because I only hear them once a yr or sth, but i nv get tired of Christmas songs. I love them!

Is there a cure for irresponsibility in the world? Or for habitual promise-breakers? I'm quite desperate for it. So that I can stop simmering with anger over such stupid stuff that nobody should have to go through if everybody just cultivated a sense of responsibility within themselves. But I guess it's the same as having crime in the world; if the entire world population knew to do only the right things n have nothing to do with the wrong, then what do we need the authorities for?


I had written a lot other things but I know that if I post those stuff, our friendship will nv be the same again. And I treasure it too much to do that. I have no idea what the others will think, but I just wanna tell you that I am very disappointed.

How does one feel when letting down friends, good friends, with an excuse?

Was super pissed on Saturday at my cousin. Mainly because she was so darn indecisive. I shan't talk abt what happened. To cut the long story short, after taking two hrs to decide she wants a slingbag over a backpack, she told me to walk ard in the rain to decide where to go next. I got so angry I told her i wanted to go home. And home we went. Started feeling guilty for flaring up at her the moment we boarded the train, but i was still angry at that time, so i didn't say anything. I'm still feeling guilty.

Anway, led worship for the first time in YA. It was quite alright, though i messed up the song. Haha. And i'm getting baptised next Sun, on Christmas Day. Makes it doubly precious. I'm afraid I won't experience any spiritual breakthroughs after my baptism. I don't even know if this fear is a rational one.

Feeling super stressed with all the projects. Esp my corp comm one. The thought of the deadline 6 weeks away is simply mind-boggling. I miss year 1! Haha. Anyway, I've decided to stop working till the hols. So I won't be working this whole semester. Don't come looking for me k.. Haha.

Went out with Jane and mh on Wed. It's the first time the 3 of us had gone out together even though we have known each other for so long. Heh. They accompanied me to cut hair on Marina Sq, then we went shopping. While mh was trying out clothes in ebase, jane n i kept disturbing her. Haha. Kept sticking our feet under the draw curtain, and Jane even saw her changing, cos i opened the curtain. Haha. Jane had to go home cook dinner, so we went home at abt 5.

Thursday, was nightmare day. Woke up 15mins early cos i wanted to prepare myself for the interview later. To cut the long story short, I messed up the interview. I babbled, i talked nonsense, and was out of point. ARGH! Haha. After my interview, we waited ard outside the room while the other candidates and observers went in and out. Waited for more than an hr b4 Corrin n i decided to go to e canteen to wait for JiaHong. After eating lunch, we went to the lab to do our online project. But instead of discussing through the forum, all of us crowded around a computer and discussed. Haha. Defeats the purpose. After that, we worked on our journal and observation reports. Did that for abt an hr before we left. actually wanted to go for a pedicure, but corrin n i were wearing covered shoes, so only jiahong went for the manicure. THen we went to Mac's to eat fries! Haha. ok. Very pek chek at the modem that night. Couldn't use the com at all.

Though didn't do much on Friday, i was tired out by 3. Went to sch in e morn to print my journal, then we went to eat breakfast. Did the kookoo FILA thing for the tourism PBL. Had lotsa fun planning the IR. Haha. Went for the consultation after that, and had lotsa laughs again. Esp when Denise gave them the snacks she brought back from her Bangkok trip. Haha.

Went to the Comm Hub room to wait for Krystle and Gwen. Calvin, Denise and i just played around with the microsoft publisher thing and the fonts. Then Krystle and Gwen came to the room, and we decided to make the title first. After much adjustments, and discussion, we finally settled the title. And we were so proud of it! It ws our first step towards our first ever newsletter! Haha. But we still have a long way to go la. After that, we allowed Gwen to go finish up on her journal, while the rest of us discussed the rest of the things to be done. We finished at abt 3 and i went home str to slp. Haha. V tired.

Dinner on Thurs was great. Went out to eat with JiaLin. We went to clarke quay. Walked ard for like half an hr before deciding on what to eat. In e end we decided to go to this Hot Stones place to settle our dinner. And we both ordered seafood pasta. And it was great. It costs 20plus but the ingredients were great. It had lobster, scallop, mussels, clams, salmon, prawns. All for that price. Super shiok. Haha.

After that, we went to TCC to eat dessert. Ordered drinks and the choc dessert and it was shiok. I love warm chocolate!

Had a long day in sch on Friday. 9-5. Club&resort class ended early, so we had some free time on our hands. After eating, Corrin, Jiahong and i found a bench outside the LTs to slack. We actually wanted to discuss some project stuff, but had no motivation, so... Haha. We ended up playing bingo, which i suck at, and hang man, which corrin doesn't know how to play. Haha. Went up to class when it was time, and cos the class was empty when we got there, we decided to play hang man on the board. The tutor even joined us. Haha.

Travel and leisure class was fun as usual. Haha. Kept laughing throughout class. Talked a lot about Dubai and the decadent lives the rich there lead. Haha. We rushed through the makeup lect cos all of us wanted to go home asap.

After sch, i went to the lib to wait for Liz to get back from Toa Payoh. When she finally got back, waited for JiaHui to come meet us. Then we took a cab down to Pasir Ris to meet the boys to go to Ellen's bdae party. The boys were real crappy, as usual. Erich looks even thinner. Haha.

The party wasn't really a party. Heh. Ate the buffet, then sat ard to talk, then it was time to sing the birthdy song. After hanging ard, the boys decided to go off. So i went off with them, cos Shawn's the only one with lives in Hougang. haha. Left Liz with Jade. On my way home, i suddenly remembered that i forgot to give ellen her present! Haha. So kookoo!

Went to practice in church on Sat afternoon with a sore throat. Was really doubtful that i can sing well, and true enough, I sounded flat. Was feeling really really discouraged. But the girls gave me a lot of encouragement la. Anyway, i had orders to talk as little as possible when out with my friends that night. And i did. And i didn't talk as loud as i used to. Haha. Smiled widely when possible so as not to laugh. Haha. One factor that caused me to have such a bad sore throat on Fri was cos i laughed too much on Fri, I think.Hehe.

It was Cheng's 18th birthday on Sat. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHENG CHENG! Went to the Tao's restaurant in Paradiz center to eat dinner. There was this waiter whom Cheng thot was cute. So we kept teasing her abt him. Haha. But really, he was cute la. Even Kenny thought so. Then the owner gave Cheng a scoop of ice cream and a organizer for next yr cos it was her bdae. Haha. And the guy even came to shake Cheng's hand and wish her happy birthday. Anyway, we went home after dinner. Dinner was not bad. The main course, codfish was good. Had 2 expensive dinners in a week.... Broke!

And i haven't gone on Xmas shopping yet! Couldn't find the time. I haven't even bought xmas cards. I'll hve to put aside quite some time for e xmas cards.

On Sunday, we were actually to meet at 7.30 in e morn to practice before service. But, i woke up at 7.40am. Stupid right?? Can't believe it. And when i woke up, the sore throat was back. I sounded like a frog. So i msged JiaLin to tell her to get Ginnette to sing my part. In e end, Ginnette was late too, so Shirley sang my part. Haha. The presentation was great. And i'm so proud of Samuel! He finally plucked up enough courage to sing solo in front of a crowd and he sang well. Everybody said he has a nice voice. And i haven't returned him his CD, though i saw him like 5 times in e past week. haha. Kept forgetting. Really thank God for Ian, cos he's the one who gave Samuel to confidence to sing solo. Truth to be told, Ian played a very impt part in the presentation. He was the one who put together the entire thing and somehow made us all sound good. Really really appreciate his help.

Feel quite relaxed this week, cos there weren't any deadlines to meet. But to just think that it's going to be the mid-term break a week ltr is a little mind-boggling. This sem really passed v quickly.

Went to the lib after sch to get some books. Actually wanted to stay there for a while to pass time before going to church. But i got hungry and a craving for Mac's fries so decided to go Kovan. When i reached Kovan, i got lazy so didn't want to walk to Mac's. Went to delifrance instead. Ordered hot choc and a fruit tart. Their standard has dropped. The fruit tart isn't good anymore.... And coffee club's hot choc is nicer. Haha. Anyway, while i was doing my research i saw Ian. For some reason he decided to walk into Delifrance to look for daniel, but ya. Haha.

As usual, we started practice late. Ha. Did the usual warm-up practices, but it was funny la. Anyway, we practiced till 9sth, then we went home.

I got tricked by JiaLin on Tuesday! To cut the long story short, she told me that she wouldn't be going for a movie when she's actually going. I totally underestimated her. Haha. Anyway, i went home after sch, had my dinner, prepared, then went out. Met them at Mos. Wandered around for a while. And Ben has sth against girls. He kept asking JiaLin and i to go shopping, go put lipstick.. BTH! And they refused to tell us where they were going. Kept putting it off. Then when they finally told us, Jia and I were like 'diaoz'. cos the place they wanted to go was the arcade. Nth wrong wad.... Anyway, we went to the arcade, and walked ard, seeing others play. Then slowly the rest of the boys came, then we went upstairs to wait for the entry time.

We watched Aeon Flux, which was not bad la. Pretty engaging. There seems to be a lot of movies abt cloning coming up. And they are all abt the so-called evil uses of cloning. I guess that's because cloning is really a sth that shouldn't be existant at all. We weren't made to be cloned.

On Wed, went to work feeling ill. Found out that Corrin won't be coming to work cos she's sick too. Sigh. Lucky it wasn't busy that afternoon. At least the Batman show was over. Haha. Took a cab home after work cos i wanted to reach home asap and get some rest. Took a nap, then woke up to eat dinner then prepared to go to church for practice. We started late again... Haha. Anyway, was praying hard before i went for practice that my sore throat and cough wouldn't affect my singing. But it did, a little, cos i couldn't breathe properly. Kept going out of breathe. And i finally heard Samuel singing solo! haha, he was so shy and unconfident. THen yday he finally sang out loud. And it was great! Ben Koh too. Haha. Anyway, the practice was great. had a lot of laughs too. After practice, went to eat supper with them. Went to chomp chomp. But we had a hard time looking for a table cos there were 7 of us. Big grp. Couldn't find table big enough. Finally found one big enough, and we ordered our food. During the practice, i had already realised that Ian and Stanley always tell the same jokes. And it's not because they heard each other or sth. They just think of the same jokes. And it heppened 2 or 3 times. Haha. And the boys are really on a different frequency from us girls. The jokes they make are.... out of range for us. After eating, Stanley fetched us home.

Going for dinner with JiaLin ltr. Have been going home late for the past week. Haha. And i'll be home late on Fri too. Feel a bit bad.. but no choice la.

Haven't blogged for a week. But I had a SUPER DUPER busy week last week. My parents were away, so i had to do the laundry else there won't be any clean clothes for my sis n i. Wanted to vacuum or mop the floor, but couldn't find the time. Haha.

The presentation on Mon was a disaster. Cos we had too little content and my part was only abt a minute. So, the tutor had a lot of things to say lo. Went to work after school on Monday. Didn't have staff meal that day, so bought a Subway s/w. And the cookies were great. Simply the best. Haha. I LOVE SUBWAY COOKIES!

My assist. manager called me at 2 on Tues afternoon to ask me if i could work. Didn't have the heart to reject her, so after sch i went to work. Jocelyn and Shirley kept bullying me.. Tho i'm older than both of them. Haha. Then Jocelyn kept saying behind Elvi's back that elvi's a bad person. Haha. The thing is, they didn't need me that day at all. Surprisingly, there wasn't a crowd that day despite the Batman show.

Went to work on Wed again. Lucky it was 12-6 and not 9-sth. Else i'll be asleep on my feet. After work, went to compass pt's cold storage to buy ingredients for Thursday's steamboat. Jane, eileen, candy and audrey were coming my hse. So i ended caryying 4 big bags of stuff home. Haha. Wasn;t really sure what to put to make the soup base, so i ended putting everything i could think of. Carrots, chicken breast, prawns. And guess what, i put too much ginger. Haha.

Went to sch on Thurs morn, then met up for project for a while. Then hurried home to prepare stuff. I asked Jane the day b4 to buy the butane gas for the steamboat. But the shops nearby didn't sell, and the shops near my hse didn't sell too. So we met at Kovan, and after much searching, finally found a shop which did. And the guy was trying to flirt with Jane. Hahaha. Went home and we watched miss congeniality 2 on my com. Ate ben and jerry's. Super shiok. Stopped halfway when eileen came. Then we started preparing the food. Candy came, and helped. Then we sat down to wait for audrey. She reached at 7 sth, and we started eating then. realised that there was too little variety of food. And somehow, the meat we cut shrinked when cooked. and they sank to the bottom, so it was like they didn't exist. Haha. And that Eileen, is really a 'fan tong'. The amt of rice she eats is the same as what my parents plus me eat for dinner. Hahaha. They went home at 9sth.

Skipped lect on Fri morn cos i was simply too tired. Was dressed a bit weirdly that day. Haha. And my shorts kept threatening to drop. The presentation for club n resort went quite well. At least we didn't waste our effort of going to the 5 hotels to take pictures. But... Corrin spent 2 nights of wasted effort making a clip of the pictures cos she forgot to bring her thumbdrive. Sad right. After that was the travel n leisure presentation. We didn't really care 'bout that cos it wasn't graded like the C&R one. So we opted for a more informal presentation. We had gone to geylang serai for our presentation, and we couldn't find relavant and good info. So, as we were seeing the other grps present, we were thinking abt how lack in content ours was. But the presentation was alright, cos of the humour the security guard brought. Haha.

Anyway, our grp was the 1st to reach the cls. So b4 cls started and we were alone in e cls with the tutor. We started laughing abt the funny uncle we saw at the hawker centre, and the security uncle and basically everything la. So much so that, Corrin spent 80% of her energy laughing, that by the time it was our turn to present, she ws stoning. haha.

Felt so relieved at the end of that day. But.. had other things to fret abt. Was going that night to JiaLin's hse to stay over for a band retreat. But my cousin Serene's ROM was on the next day at 2. So i had no idea if i was going to have to go to the ceremony with no slp.

Anyway, when i reached there, weilin, isaac and ian were cooking dinner. Stanley was reading the Bible. Ian looked competent, so i went to help weilin. Haha. The menu for that night was salad and portobello mushrooms as appetisers, shepard's pie and seafood casserole as main course and apple crumble as dessert! haha. Dinner was good. After dinner, was worship time. Then we played games while waiting for the rest to reach. Played the "ma tong"(toiletbowl) game. Actually it shld be called the "da bian" game wad. Haha. Anyway, had lotsa fun. When Sam, Shannen and Siwei reached we started the discussion. That went on for abt 2hrs? Then we watched the movie Drumline. Not bad, quite typical. Haha. But it was a new angle for that kind of movie la. After the movie we were all stoning, but were reluctant to go to slp, so we decided to play taboo. But that failed entirely cos we were all brain dead. Just didn't have to energy to be enthu abt e game. Haha. The boys were debating to watch kung pow or spongebob. We settled on kung pow. And the show was utter lameness. U really cannot imagine how sb can think up of such stupid ideas. haha. But i guess if the objective was to produce sth lame, he/she succeeded. Notice the "he/she" cos i don't know the sex of the producer, but i can't help thinking it's a guy.

Anyway, the boys had already watched the show like 4times n above. But they still roared with laughter during the show. I couldn't help but cringe at the plot. It was really. It has reached to peak of lameness. I did laugh, but still. And before the movie the boys were still asking each other how many times each of them had watch the movie. haha. Bth. An hr into the movie, The laughter got softer, cos Ian fell asleep. Then a while later, it got really soft, cos Ben Koh, Sam and Siwei had all fallen aslp. Shannen too. So i decided to slp too. Haha. When the movie finally ended, i saw Stanley stop the dvd and taking it out. Then i went back to slp. Slept for abt an hr, and woke up at 6. Sat ard, waiting for everybody else to wake up. Then Stanley sent us to the main road.

When i reached home, i went to bed as soon as i can and slept till 11. Woke up, bathed. My cousin reached my hse. Waited for my sis to prepare, then took a cab down to the clubhse my cousin was holding her ceremony. My cousin Serene, the bride was real pretty that day. and I feel so happy for her! I guess we all did. It was real funny during the ceremony la, though it shldn't be. Haha. And Zhihao's officially our cousin now! Though he has been the past 6 yrs as an unofficial one. Ha. After the ceremony we took photos, then it was lunchtime! the buffet was quite good, and we were all rushing for the fruit tarts and the cakes. Haha. After lunch we kept taking photos with Serene's camera. All ard the clubhse. Haha.

After the thing i actually wanted to go home to get some rest and to do some sch work. But somehow i agreed to go out with my cousins and aunts and uncle. Went to Causeway point, all the way from rivervalley. Shopped ard, went to court's cos another cousin of mine was getting married and they wanted to look at furniture. So took the opportunity to sit ard and rest. Then went down to MOS to get a drink. My sis left a while after that to meet her friends, and we continued shopping. Then, we decided to go to MOS to have dinner. Not exactly that, just snacks. Cos Ting2 and i only ate fries, though there were a lot of them. Haha.

Then my uncle sent us home. And TIng2 n i ate the food we tookaway from the buffet. Haha. I had thought that we wouldn't have dinner that night. Then we watched tv and i used the computer till quite late. Then we went to slp.

Went for worship practice in the afternoon on sat. Before that i was doing the ppt for the presentation on Monday. SO when i went for practice my mind was heavy with the ppt. Kept yawning. Then half way through practice, my slippers spoilt! The strap dropped off. So Stanley volunteered to drive me home. So nice of him. Hah.

Sunday was the wedding anniversary of my parents. And my parents were leaving for Chiang Mai on a mission trip. So my father said to eat at the airport. (P.S. this is the first time my parents are celebrating their anniversary. To my knowledge at least.) Before leaving church my father said we could mayb go to the canteen or BK to eat. Which is stupid. U ask us to meet u specially at the airport just so to eat at e canteen?? And it's e anniversary! Men. Anyway, we ended eating ajisen ramen. Haha.

We left them waiting to check in while my sis, cousin n i went to the hse of another cousin of ours. Slacked ard, took some photos.. Watched Zorro. I miss the Zorro of the old. When he had a thin moustache and was super funny. I rmb my mum, sis n i will watch the shows every afternoon and laugh through the whole show. They were that funny. Altho the new Zorro movies are not that bad, i still miss the old Zorro shows. they were the best. I guess that's y they are called classics.

Then it was time for dinner! My cousin made pasta, and mashed potatoes. Very nice. Didn't know she could cook that well. Haha. After dinner, while the adults were eating, we kids played one "hand" of mahjong. Heh. After a while went home liao.

Stms, I feel i'm weird. Y are my other cousins closer and much more caring towards my grandmother than me? As in, i don't feel that link between us. Understand? I don't feel the urge to buy her things, to make her happy like my other cousins do. And it's not like things are the same with my other grandmother. If they were, i can simply assume that i'm unfeling towards the elderly. But no. I feel closer to my other grandmother. If i don't go down to her hse for long i would feel weird. But not so with this grandmother. Why??

Had lotsa fun during today's excursion! Haha, it's not a excursion, really. Just a field trip project. We went to geylang serai. Was real unsure of where to get down the bus, so we just stopped after seeing the sign "Geylang Serai". Haha. Ate at a hawker centre. We girls really ate a lot, the 3 of us ordered a plate of $4 beehoon goreng, and a big plate of indian rojak. Haha. And we finished everything! Then we started this super lame game of searching for things which are yellow and long. All because Calvin kept saying the goreng pisang we bought looked like siew mai. haha, so we came up with stuff like fishcake, bananas..

Along the way we kept taking photos, and we came to this malay village. It's sth like a museum thing, but it was rather isolated. After walking ard for a while this security guard came and asked us what we were doing there. At first i thought that he was going to run us off the premises, but he volunteered to tell us more abt geylang serai. Initally we thought we had run into sth good, we had sb to tell us abt geylang serai. But... it turned out that he just wanted to tell us his life story. Shan't say what he told us, there's too much, but believe me, 80% of the time, he didn't talk abt geylang serai, but abt his life. Finally, Calvin gathered his courage and told the uncle that we had to leave. Haha.

The boys and us went separate ways after that cos they had lessons, while we girls went to town, to visit the hotels. Took a cab there, and our first stop was Marina Mandarin! Went to the super cool toilet, and took some photos inside. Visited the pool, and it was nice! the nicest out of the 4 we went to. After that was Pan Pacific. The pool was quite normal, if i didn't rmb wrongly. After Pan Pac was Conrad. But Conrad was simple, esp the pool. It was just a rectangular thing. Haha. Then we went to Oriental. Corrin saw her ex-colleague, and brought us ard the hotel. The toilet was super shiok. While in the hotels we started this crazy notion of acting like tourists. So we started faking these accents and kept mixing up the British and American accents. So we were laughing the whole time we were there. And Denise kept telling us to refrain from attracting too much attention, but we kept laughing, so she kept telling us as we giggled through the hotels that we were supposed to not attract attention. Haha. Anyway, we spent too much energy laughing. By the time we finished Oriental we were dragging our feet alr. So we went to the Killiney's kopitiam in Marina to take a rest and have a drink. Discussed our project stuff too. Then we went to Swissotel Stamford. Wanted to visit the pool, but it was off limits so we took photos of the hallway instead. Funny how the pool is off limits to visitors, but the hotel rooms are open.

And we took photo with batman's car! Haha. That's even cooler than taking photo with batman. After that, Jiahong had to go off, and Denise went with her. Corrin wanted to pass time while waiting for her friend so i accompanied lo. Went to coffee club and slacked there till 4sth, almost 5 then we left. She went to meet her friend, i went home.

On Fri, went to sch at abt 12 to research on some things then went to town to meet mh and flo. Went to buy tickets and sat ard to wait for cc and candy. They were almost late, lucky they reached just on time. Oh ya, while waiting for them i saw Keigo. he hasn't collected his vodka from me after a mth... Haha.

The movie Just Like Heaven was good. Funny, touching. And i didn't cry! Not a tear! Cheng2 kept saying i did. chey! haha. Flo and mh went home after e movie. Cheng candy n i went to eat dinner at Phin's steakhse. The food's not bad. I like the big bread bowl. But i spent a lot! Shit. Need to curb my spending.

I went to watch Oliver Twist today! It was better than I expected, cos i actually thought it would be boring, cos it's a very classic story. But it turned out good! it was very engaging. The boy's soo cute. My kookoo cousin was late, so i went shopping at bras basah and got 3 books for $16! Great bargain! Haha. Also bought 2 CDs at cd-rama. A Hillsong one and the Jamie Cullum. Then i walked back to city hall to meet my cousin and went to cine. She was full of crap and nonsense as usual.

As i said, watch Oliver Twist at Cine. Shed some tears at some scenes, haha. It very nice! But as with all shows, there were a couple of times when i fed-up with the boy for not doing sth that is so obvious and by doing that, all that had happened wouldn't have. Right? Haha. Dunno. Anyway, went to eat our dinner after that. Kookoo cousin had difficulty deciding. Ate in e foodcourt in e end. Then we walked ard for a while and went home after that.

Do's and Don'ts of eating in a restaurant (Part 2)

1. Pls do not ignore notices with words of font size 72 that tell you to queue up somewhere, and then sit yourself at a table of your own choice.

2. Kiasu-ism may be a Singapore culture, but pls do not be so eager to show it in public by rushing to a booth seat when you are not in queue, or when the table is not cleared and the servers have to put down whatever they're doing so as to clear it for you.

3. If the above is ignored and you have seated yourself at a table of your choice, pls do not get upset if the servers don't bring you the menu. It's not easy to remember who has ordered and who has not. Although the customer is always right, who asked you to skip the first step when eating in a restaurant: Pls Wait To Be Seated?

Went for my one-day attachment at Subway today. Had lotsa fun! They let me help with the preparation of the vegs, and be the "architect". You know, the one putting the veg. But i cut the tomatoes till my upper arm is aching. And i was thinking it's cos of my heavy bag. Haha. Stupid, i know.

Met Jane after that at 12. And we went shopping! I saw a lot of stuff that i want to buy! A brown adidas jacket, a Nike sling bag, and a Nike dark purple corduroy tote bag. All expensive... Oh ya, and i saw another adidas jacket that I like.

It was great meeting Jane. Hadn't met her since before the hols.

I am watching "I am Sam" right now on ch5. And i'm crying buckets. Not all the time of course, but still. I'm crying at almost every scene. Lucky my mom's asleep and my sis' not home yet. Haha.

Do's and Don'ts of eating in a restaurant

1. Be patient. Pls wait for somebody to bring you to your table.

2. Be polite. Don't ignore servers who smile at and greet you be walking past them and choosing a table by yourself.

3. Be satisfied with your seat. Don't get all grumpy and rude if told that the booth seats might not be available, and if you aren't able to get one during peak periods.

4. Pls do not take the water pitchers or menus yourself. What are the servers there for?

5. Pls do smile while saying thank you. It makes it so much more sincere, and the smile really makes a difference. If you think it's troublesome, a smile will do. But if that action of turning up the 2 corners of your mouth is too hard to do, then forget it.

I'm the class rep! I can't believe my luck, and i don't care if it's considered good or bad. I just know that it was a kookoo coincidence. My comm skills tutor, ms tirzah was looking for sb to help her collect money, and mayb she liked my name, so she picked me. And stupid me actually thought that she called me to be the cls rep. In fact, the cls thought so. The next day, when she was looking for the cls rep to do sth, i stupidly raised my hand and u know what she said? "Oh, you're the cls rep too?" Argh!! Haha, and that's how I inadvertently became the cls rep.

Anyway, went for the interview on Subway on Thurs afternoon. 10 students will be selected from 2 classes to work on a client-based project, where the client is Subway. I got in, by the way. But I'll be separated from Magaret...... Haha.

Friday..... went home after school, took a nap, then woke up to bathe and went to work. Not much there.

On Sat, went to the Shiseido workshop and grooming course. Went early to help out, but didn't do much la.. haha. The Shiseido workshop was really informative and fun. But the grooming course........... super sian! The speaker was so boring, she talks as if she has something in her mouth, and most of the time, the things she said didn't make sense. I saw a guy who looks like LeeHom. He was one of the helpers. Haha.

Sunday... got dragged to Bishan with Shannen. Haha, not really lah. Accompanied her to dye her hair. The smell of the bleach was so overpowering i didn't want to breathe. Haha. After more than an hr we went to eat Mos burger, then walked ard j8, tho there weren't much to see. Finally we went to shop in NTUC, haha, and spent a long time in there. After that, i went to my cousin's hse. Sat ard, watched tv, talked abt bo liao stuff, which is what we always do. Then ate dinner, then ice-cream, sat ard somemore, and we went home at 9sth.

Nth much happened on Monday and today. Just went to sch, and to work on Mon. Other than that... it was just 2 normal days...

Oh ya, i saw Eugene, my pri sch friend at raffles city distributing fliers for DBS. he was in this durian thing, and at first when i saw his back, i was thinking: This guy so poor thing. But he turned out to be Eugene! Haha. Such coincidence. He called me at night, and we chatted for a while. He kept pressing me to organize a cls outing. Which i kept rejecting, bcos i don't want to! Even thinking of a place to go to is a huge headache. And we actually wanted a chalet. But the boys are enlisting soon, some in Dec. So it wouldn't be nice if we did the thing without them. None of the days are fitting!! Who wants to volunteer to organize huh?

Went to Cheng's hse on Fri morning with Candy to play. Finally got all the photos we had been taking over the past few yrs from her. Haha. Played till 3sth, then went for tuition.

Saturday, went for my last tuiton with my kid. 'Cos she's having her holidays, so will continue next yr. After tuition, took a cab down to church. But it turned out that practice was cancelled and nobody informed me..... Anyway, i then went down to Hougang mall to buy stuff for my mum cos she's making cheesecake n brownie! haha, anyway, met my sis on e bus home, so gave her some of the things to carry. Super heavy lo.

Sunday, went to church then to work. Not much happened la. But elvi was crazy that night. She supposedly got off work at 5, but because my manager n asst manager were doing the appraisal thing, she stayed behind to help. After work, she drank a bottle of beer, and went for a smoke. When she came back, she started acting crazy. Really. She was talking loudly, laughing at every single thing, asking real loudly for iced rambutan. Haha. After work, they went to Jason's hse to play. I went home.

On Monday, i went to school for my first day of sch! Haha, it was a one hr lect. AFter the lect corrin n I went to mensa to eat, then we bought food for those ppl at CC. Haha. Reached there at abt 1, and we sat there till 6sth waiting for elvi n jason to finish work n go for dinner. Somehow we managed to go through that 5 or more hrs, and finally went for dinner at Bugis. Couldn't decide what to do after dinner, so we walked ard, sat ard, finally settling down at Mac's. Hah. Chit-chatted and played some biting game till 9sth when we went home, except elvi. She met her friends and so stayed behind with them.

Tues, Corrin decided not to go for lect. I met laykuan to go cos she's having the same lecture. The lecture lasted only for 45mins, so it ended at 1245 instead of 1400. kookoo right. And i still had to wait for liz to end sch at 3. Then accompanied laykuan's friend to apply for a cds. That took abt an hr. Went to the lib after that to pass time, then met liz at 3. went to the new canteen in ITAS. Not bad la, got air-con, food's not that ex. Liz n I went to town, bought tics at Lido to sky high, then walked to OG cos i had to help my mum buy some pots. After buying them went to shop at DP. Haha, i bought a top, liz bought a jacket.

Then we met diyana n her bf, lee at heeren to walk to lido. Bought nachos, then went into the theatre. The show's not bad, quite funny. And there was this guy in the show, not the male lead, but he's really cute. And hot. He's like the younger n more handsome version of Antonio Banderas. You know, Zorro? Very chiselled and strong features. Anyway, the show's quite typical, in that the lead's a cute-in-a-geeky sort of way, and he has a childhood playmate who's in love with him but he doesn't see it and has a crush on sb else. That's the love story part. And the superhero part...... itz again quite typical with it's heartwarming, and teenage hero - with the help of friends - to the rescue kinda ending. But of cos, it's expected, and nobody would have it any other way. So, all in all, it was funny, and it was worth the money. Go catch it!

ANyway, i have two new movies that i wanna watch. One is Oliver Twist, which i think most of my friends would think is boring, and Zathura, which is a space-age version on Jumanji.

After the movie, we went home.

On Wednesday, which is today, i went for the first pedicure in my life. Haha. No doubt it's only an express pedicure, it's still a new experience. Haha. It was nice, to be pampered like that. Now i know why so many women like to go for manicures n pedicures. Like tai-tai sia..... haha. Spent the day with Corrin in TM and century sq. Ate lunch at BK, then walked ard isetan, then went for pedicure. Walked aimlessly ard Century sq and TM, then we went to the foodcourt in TM, ate dessert. The man at the counter started making some funny shapes with the shaved ice, and it turned out to be a snow man of some sort! Haha. But it really was interesting. Shows how ppl can come up with creative things using such simple pdts. Went home after that, cos we had nowhere else to go.

I'm so tired!! Both my ankles, my heels, my thighs and my shoulders are aching. I need a full body massage! But I've never liked being massaged before.. The thing is, me feet haven't felt so badly since i changed my working shoes. Haha. Okay, shan't talk about my tiredness now. Start updating from Sunday.

Okay, the highlight of last Sunday is : How does a girl of merely 6 yrs get to be so cunning, so full of tricks and basically so naughty and unlovable? Really. I love kids. Esp the young ones, before they get so corrupted by the world and lose their innocence. But my niece is really... Her favourite trick to get her way is to pretend to cry when we refuse her certain things. Then when we give in to her she'll start smiling immediately and start her games all over again. Worse when the adults are ard. If the adults like tell us to stop, or give in to her, she'll give us that smug face that i didn't think a child would know how to give. I don't know la. I just wonder why a kid can be so unlovable. She's only 6!

Anyway, i had fun on Sun despite my niece. Went to this party world in Orchard. Not the one in the singtel building k. Ulu ulu one. My much elder cousin(he's like 32), has a very good voice. His rendition of the Lin Zhi Xuan's song was great. Like a CD record. Then my other elder cousin does a very good imitation of ah du. Okay, i knowevery single guy out there has done one of ah du before. But my cousin's really good. Serious! We kept laughing and giggling while he was singing cos it was so alike. After he sang the first ah du song, he couldn't stop having that "sore throat" thing in his voice. Haha.

After singing, we went to my grandma's hse. It's a 2-room flat. So with almost 20 ppl squeezing in the living room, it was bursting at the seams. And it was super hot. My cousins n i went down to buy ice cream. Haha. At abt 8sth, we went home.

From Monday on, i started my marathon of walking. Worked from 12nn to 10pm on Monday. Then on tues, i met Candy n cc and went shopping, which of cos included walking. Then on Wed i worked 12-10 again. And on Thurs morning, juz as i was anticipating going home in the evening at 5, my colleauge called to say that she couldn't work that day, and so my hrs got extended to 8. Which meant that, i would be working 10hrs, excluding my breaks. Great. By 5 in the evening, i was dragging my feet ard CC. I'm sure the customers could see that i was tired. Haha. And so coincidentally, my branch manager came n made a nuisance of herself. I don't mind if she comes to check things out. What makes me pissed off at her is that she's always asking us to do things that she herself can do. So what if she's the manager? You mean u can't send a bill to the customer? Aiya, dunno la. Pek chek. Mayb it's partly bcos i was so tired n she kept asking me to do stuff.

OKay, so that's what i did for the past few days. Continuous walking. I can't tell u the hrs i spent on my feet. I know i'm whining, but just let me satisfy myself.

I feel so apologetic towards Candy right now. I actually planned to meet her this afternoon, which is Sat, to go shopping. But the church band practice got postponed to 3, so i told her to either meet at 7, or we'll go out on Sun. Then when i woke the next day, i suddenly remembered that i'm meeting my cousins to go karaoke. Haha. So absent-minded of me. Sorry k, Candy.

Anyway, it was a long practice today. Abt 4hrs. And, sth very very coincidental happened. Haha, nvm, shan't talk abt it.

This is a very short entry. Hah. It's mainly to apologise to Candy.

Yay, i finally went out today after a 2 weeks' break. Haha. As mentioned in my previous blog, i left my hse at abt 9, went to kovan's mac for my breakfast and to pass time, then i took a bus down to the national lib and spent more than 2 hrs reading there. Liz msged lay kuan n I to let us know that she'll be late in meeting us cos she's going to see a doc. She ar..... she was down with fever on Mon, but she didn't go see a doc and went to work anyway on Tues. And she finally decided to go see one today. Anyway, i went to meet Lay Kuan and accompanied her to an interview at Katriel's. Have heard of the shop, but wasn't clear on what they sold. The things they sell are not really jewellery. Cos when i think of jewellery i think of stuff they sell at lee hwa and tiffany's. It's more of accessories? Earrings, necklaces. One difference being they are made of semi-precious stones, gemstones. Another significant difference is that they cost a lot more. A pair of earrings can reach $100. But they are semi-precious stones, uniquely designed by qualified designers. So, quite worth it la. And i told lay kuan that if she gets the job, i want to know how much her staff discount is. Haha.

After that, we went to Marina Sq in search of food. Spent a lot of time deliberating over what to eat. And we finally decided on Swensen's. Lay Kuan, who can be considered a big eater, decided to order the petit salad. She didn't believe that the serving size would be small. So she got a shock when she saw it. Haha. It was really petite. Then we ate our ice-creams. I ordered the sticky chewy choc. And it was soo sweet. Liz finally came to meet us after a while, and she ordered ice cream too, despite the fact that she had a cough. After chatting for a while, we went shopping! We actually planned to watch a movie. But Liz met us late, and Kuan was meeting her friends for dinner. So we went shopping instead. I finally bought a pair of shoes! haha. I rarely buy shoes. And they're a real nice pair of no-heel pumps. Liz bought a pair too. Then we went to another shop, where liz got tempted to buy a pair of wedges. They're v nice, and i love the colour! She spent a lot of time deliberating whether to buy them or not when she decided to walk ard and think abt it first. Haha. Felt a little bad towards the sales girl cos she was really nice and helpful.

Then, we went into this shop which was really charming. The wallpaper, decorations were all very Victorian. And the clothes. They have a lot of clothes with lace, and all the trimmings that make a girl feminine. I think Candy would not even want to step into the shop. Haha. But the clothes are all very sweet and feminine, very old victorian type. And they have nice shoes too. Liz bought a pair. Haha.

After that...... we went to PS. Cos kuan was meeting her friends there, and i wanted to go to spotlight to get sth.
Kuan met her friends, i got my stuff. Liz n I bought some bread n cheese outside PS where carrefour was having this French Village thing. Then it was time to go home.

Okay, halfway through this blog, I realised that I haven't blogged like this for quite some time. Describing what i did throughout the day in some details. I guess i was just cooped up at home for too long. A day out like this helped me recover from my brooding. Hah. I'm not like filled with happiness or all that bullshit la, but i'm feeling better. A little.

Living to get the approval of people around me is tiring. More than I ever thought it would be.

I love the simplicity of this song. Not so much of the lyrics, but the tune, and the simple, lonely sounding guitar. It's from the Shrek soundtrack, so it shouldn't be too unfamiliar to most ppl.3


There's going to be a electricity cut in my block of flats later todat from 0830 to 1730. So I'll have to wake up at 8 bathe, then perhaps go to the lib or sth. Cos i definitely cannot stand being at home without fan or aircon. I'll die of boredom and heat. Luckily i'm going out with liz n laykuan...

After reading Lay Kuan's blog, I have a question to ask. How many hours in our entire live, do we spend waiting? People who go to work daily or basically go out, by public transport have to wait for the bus, or train for at least 10mins (added up) everyday. The bus, especially. If there's a traffice jam during the peak hours, or an accident happened, the waiting might go on for half an hour or more. And just how many traffic jams will one be caught in in a lifetime?

We also spend time waiting for people. I spend a lot of time doing that. Haha, i'm not making any personal attacks, i'm just saying what I have experienced. Anyway, Singaporeans are famous for being late. Males and females alike. Pls stop saying that the females are always late. Cos most guys I know can be late for more than 10mins. I'm not going to make any comments about how I cannot imagine how some people are always late for 15mins and above.

We also wait for more than a dozen other things. Christians wait for the Lord's coming. We wait for food to be cooked, esp when we eat outside. We wait for a movie to start, a performance to begin. We wait for bothersome commercials to be over while watching tv prog. We wait for the red man to turn to the green man before crossing the road. The list is neverending. Everyday, we encounter new things to wait for.

Life, is all about waiting..

Yay, I'm finally online. I've been trying for the past few days in vain.

Until now, i still do not have much to say. haha. I lead a very boring life. Met SiTing while crossing the road on my way home from church on Sun. She was with this guy... her bf? hehe. Anyway, she seemed to be in a hurry, and she sms-ed me a while later. I have met quite a few of my old friends coincidentally this holiday. Vincent, SiTing, Esmond, Jane and Yuet Yee.

Okay, i don't have much to say already. Went to work on both Mon n today, which is tues. Woke up late this morning, so i took a cab down. Spent $15 on that. Reached there at abt 0845 and found Alice slping there. Haha. Okay, that's all i hafta say. Haha.

THis is such a big diff from what used to be. I could write long blogs abt what i did during the day. But now, I just no longer have the mood to do it. And i no longer have the "want" to talk abt what's making me unhappy. And I have been. Some. I can't really say what's making me unhappy, i just don't feel, you know, happy. I rarely feel like this. Okay, mayb some of my friends will say that I have a "smelly" face quite a few times. But i was juz fedup at some things or at least i was unhappy at something or someone. Now, i am truly unhappy n i don't know y. I feel that i don't have anybody i can truly talk to.

Okay, i sound like i'm self-pitying myself again. Heh.

I want to be able to act and live without having to worry abt what others think of me.

Nth much happening these few days. Feeling super bored at home.

Went to Compass point after tuition on Tues to buy some things. And coincidentally, met Lay Kuan. been a long time since we've chatted, so we stood where we met and started talking abt a lot of things. Haha. I think we chatted for more than 30mins. Looking forward to going out with liz n her.

Esmond came to coffee club on Wed with his gf while i was working. I can only sae he hasn't changed at all. Haha. Bth him.

That's all i have to sae. V short right. This is e first time i'm having such a short entry. Just don't have the mood to talk abt mundane things.

My mother was juz talking abt cockroaches with my sis. And i really wonder y we are so scared of them. I mean, they have not done anything to scare us. Beetles too. I absolutely hate beetles, esp the sound they make when they land. That click click sound. Makes my heart pound like mad. Okay, anyway, y are we so afraid of them? I don't think anybody taught me or my sis to be scared of them. We have nv watched horror movies abt giant roaches or anything like that, my mother has nv displayed any fear of them before, certainly not my dad. It's like, usually ppl have to learn e way abt some things, like being careful of hot water, fires, etc. But cockroaches?? To put it objectively, they are just insects. An animal. But my hair always stands when i see one near me. At least i don't scream n run to another room when i see one like my sis. Haha. I only run when itz a flying cockroach.

Another thing, i can accept it if God wanted to create cockroaches. But why did he decide to make them so resistant to death? They can survive w/o a head. The thought of seeing one juz makes me wanna squirm. What if it's a flying headless cockroach? haha. Imagine that. My sis will scream her head off.

Actually, cockraoches shld be sth familiar to us right? We've seen them all our lives, since we were young. Every house would at least have a cockroach. So y on earth are we so afraid of them? I rmb i didn't use to be so scared of them when i was younger. It was as i grew older that my fear got greater. Mayb my sis influenced me or sth.

Okay, think that's all for my fear of cockroaches theory. Feeling abit tired now. But i don't have to wake up early tmr. So itz okay.

Yay. Just went out with joselin, elvina n corrin to town.

Went to coffee club to meet them cos all 3 of them were working. Haha. Went to eat long john's after buying the movie tickets. It was super cold, the air con was blowing v cold air out that even made e tissue somersault. Haha. Watched the 40 yr old virgin, a co*k of a show. Pun fully intended. Seriously, the show was crazy. And the ending, nth can beat that, man. U'll have to watch it to fully understand the co*kness of the show. haha.

Saw the trailer for the show Transporter 2. Super shiok. I love the car man. And that Jason guy seemed cool. I'll watch the show juz for the car alone. Ha. But Transporter 1 wasn't that nice. So... dunno. Depends on whether there's sb to accompany me. Heh.

After the movie we went to nydc to have a drink. And, u noe what. The movie was screened in the same theatre as the one where i watch corpse bride last Fri. And the seat we sat in nydc was the same as the one i sat at last Fri too. So qiao3 right. Ha. Sat in nydc for abt an hr b4 leaving.

Corrin was quite high tonight. Haha. But i hope she's okay n we managed to cheer her up la. Just make the decision that will make u happy.

Had fun tonight. Now that i think abt it, i don't really feel like quitting when i start sch. Quite she3 bu4 de2 them.. Think i shld be able to juggle my schedule la right.

I am very bored!! Super, extremely bored.Ppl who might be yearning for some free time off either from work or studies might want to kill me when they see this, but seriously, I'm bored. This haven't happened to me in a long time. I have no idea y i feel like this. in the past i could always find sth to occupy my time. But now, i seriously have nth to do. I've done everything on my to-do list for today by 2pm. So starting from that time, i was starting to look for things to do. Wanted to play games online, but the com kept hanging. So there goes my plan. There isn't anything nice on tv right now, somehow i don't really feel motivated to read a novel right now, and there isn't anybody online that i really want to talk to. So i really don't know what to do. In abt an hr's time i'll try to go slp, but i don't know if i'll be able to.

Went to my ahma's hse on Sun. None of my other relatives were there, so i spent the whole day watching tv. haha. my ahma cooked nasi lemak, which meant that i've eaten that for dinner twice in a row cos my mother made that for dinner on Sat. Haha. But i still like. And my cousin's getting ROM on 3rd dec! quite excited cos she's the first one. And we are all like planning what to wear already. Ha.

Went to work on Mon afternoon. There was a customer who looked like, or so they said. And they kept giggling and teasing me over it! esp fiona n jason. Everytime fiona looked at her she would laugh. Then jason came up with this story abt showing the customer my half of a medallion cos we are long lost sisters or sth. Stupid right. Bth. Then in the night, i gave jason a stupid expression. Then he started saying i look like garfield. Really hor..... haha.

Went for tuition on Tues afternoon, then to tamp to jocelin's hse to play mahjong. On the way to tamp met Jane! So coincidental. She was on her way home from sch. Haven't seen her in a long time. Haha. Waited super long for the bus to jocelin's hse. Started playing ard 1930. And that stupid brandon won so many times, the turn was stuck at his turn. So it took us more than an hr to finish one wind. Then during dinner, we really laughed our heads off. That brandon la! Whatever i say, he muz have the last word. #&%$#! haha. Anyway, had lotsa fun that night, cos haven't laughed so much n so heartily in a long time. Corrin's bf came to fetch her, so i lom pang. It wasn't really on the way, cos corrin lives in pasir ris. haha. Anyway, reached home at abt 1230.

I wanna blog, n i noe i shld, but i juz feel so lazy to. Contradicting? When i think of how i have to put all my thoughts into words, and hafta type them out, and correct them if my english is in pieces, I juz dun fell like blogging already. Haha. Feel tired, but if i don't grab this chance to blog, I don't know when my kookoo internet connection will work again. So.... think i'll juz sae briefly lo.

Stayed at home on Sun while my parents n sis went to my grandmas' hse, cos i was tired. Ard evening time, my cousin n 2 of my aunts came home with my parents. Gave a shock. Haha. Not really sure y they popped over, but they left after a while.

Went to work on Mon. There's a new girl, Fiona. Quite pretty. Nth much that day. Juz that there was this angmoh. He's super cute. As in what he did, not his looks. Not that he wasn't cute. Haha. Blabbering. Anyway, he ordered cranberry turkey ham with mustard n cheese, without ham. I didn't think much abt that order until i saw the dish. There's like only the cranberry sauce, lettuce, tomatoes cheese n bread. Anyway, he took a bite, and gave a weird face and i knew sth was wrong. then he asked me if there was turkey in it. Of cos i said no la. It turned out that he thought turkey ham meant turkey, and ham. 2 different kinda meat. But it simply meant ham made of turkey. I told him that, n he was like a lil shocked n asked how they made that. I got a double shock at that, n was little stumped for an answer. Then i juz told him that same way as they made chicken n pork ham. Haha. Funny lo.

Went to work on tues during a weird timing, 11-3 cos i couldn't work 12-4. Had tuition at 4. Realise i have a tendency to forget umbrellas. Cos i borrowed an umbrella from my student abt 2 weeks ago so i brought it along to coffee club. In e morning, i had to go back to my hse for it cos i forgot abt it. Then after going down to e mrt station to buy my concession i realised i left it in coffee club. So had to go back to get it. Then, i left it in the cab i was taking. Lucky e driver saw e umbrella in time. So that was how i forgot the umbrella 3 times in a day. Haha.

Slacked at home the entire day on Wed. Was actually looking forward to it ever since Sun cos i knew i wouldn't have enough slp till Tues night. But, it was highly overrated by myself, except for e slp part, cos i slept soundly till 11. Made pasta with the squid ink linguine we bought in Thailand. Tasted not too bad. Oh ya, i had a revelation in Thailand. Brinjal is not an English word! Ppl who knew that beforehand pls laugh at me. Ppl who only knows it now can go into shock like i did. And ppl who don't even know what brinjal is, r u even Singaporean? Brinjal is a malay word for eggplant. Know what eggplant is? that Long purple veg.
Packed my room a little on Wed, but i still have a long way to go. Need to find a place to put my bags neatly n still be able to get them easily. Any suggestions?

Worked the whole day on Thurs. 12-1030. Realised that pay for a cook is $6. I am seriously considering being a cook right now.

I have a habit of going somewhere in the morning, then going to hougang for tuition n back to that place i went to in the morn in the evening. It has happened twice. first time was when i went to work, then to tuition, then back to marina. Today, which is Fri, or rather yday, I went to Suntec, then to orchard to cut my hair, then to tuition, then back to orchard to meet rena n cc.

The reason i went to suntec was cos body shop was having warehse sales, n i spent over 70bucks there. Then went to meet my sis to go to toni & guy where her fren was working. Cut my hair.. a bit different la. Esp my back. Went for tuition after that. Then went to orchard. Met them at PS. Then we went to cine to catch a movie. Spent some time deliberating over which movie to watch. In e end, we tossed a coin n decided to watch corpse bride. Haha. rushed down to yoshinoya for dinner, and cheng was feeling stressed throughout the dinner cos she was really feeling the pressure to finish dinner in 20mins. Haha. the serving size there is getting smaller.

The show's not bad. Quite funny. I like the part where this dead man's jaw dropped to the floor cos of when in shock we drop our jaws right. So cos he's a skeleton, his dropped right to the floor. Still can't imagine johnny depp as the main char. Seems so out of character for him to play such a character. After the movie, we went to BK, sat there for a while, then we went to NYDC to eat desserts. Cheng suddenly became inspired to talk in Eng with a super weird slang with an angmoh sitting right beside her. So... haha. Went home after that.

Yeah! I'm back! haha, actually, i was back last Sat but didn't have the chance to blog. Either that, or my internet connection was down.

Anyway, shall briefly tell u what i did in Bangkok last week. Most of it will be abt the food. Haha, of cos the shopping's good. Woke up at 5.30 in the morning on Tues morning cos we had to check in at abt 730 at e airport. Bathed, did some last min packing, then left for the airport. On our way there the taxi driver started saying abt how he was supposed to go to phuket last dec for hols. N all of us know what happened last dec. Yes, the tsunami. In e end, his son bought a car in his name, so he had to cancel his trip so as to process the purchase of the car. Which is super heng, cos he would probably be killed if he went.

Checked in, then we went to eat breakfast. Actually wanted to eat at Mac's but we couldn't find the one at T1, so we ate at BK. Then we started shopping at e duty free shops, until it was time to board the plane.
When we reached Bangkok it was 1030. Early right. We went to the hotel, rested for a while, then we went shopping! Ate lunch first, at a foodcourt. The beef soup v nice. haha. Then we shopped till 6sth. Didn't buy anything that day. My sis did lah. Actually, i did buy "inner beauty", but my mother paid for them so not counted. Haha. After shopping, we went to this seafood restaurant. The food's real nice, and the service's v good. After eating we went back to the hotel, rested, watch tv then slp.

Woke up in e morning to eat breakfast. Woke up at abt 6sth sg time. Shiok right. Somemore i didn't have a good night's slp that night. From abt 4 in e morning i kept waking up at 10min intervals. Cham right. Kept yawning that day while shopping. Haha. Then we went to this building called bobae towers to shop. they sell stuff wholesale, ppl usually buy at least a dozen at a time. Of cos, the more u buy the cheaper it is lah. My mother spent quite a lot, cos the 3 of us esp my sis n my mum bought a lot of "inner beauty", haha. Then we went shopping at another place, some high class place we we only window shopped. Their Birkenstocks were seeling at 30% discount, shiok right, was a bit tempted to buy la. haha. Then we went shopping at a building next to it. Bought earrings, a bag which all 3 of us can use, n several things la. Then juz as we were concluding our shopping in that building, we realised we left our big bag of "inner beauty" in the previous bldg. So my sis n i went back there to enquire at e information counter. Then we followed the security guard to the staff only office to find out that we had to present our passport for some form of identification, and to our dismay, we didn't have our passports with us. So i went back to look for my parents while my sis stayed behind. Quickly walked back to the place my parents were waiting, got my passport, and rushed back there, tho at a slower pace than b4, haha. By the time everything was finished, i think all the security staff knew what had happened. haha.

After eating something at a cafe we went to another bldg to shop. My sis bought a lot of stuff again. Haha. Then we went to this v big supermarket. Bought some stuff, then we went to eat liao. The thing is, the place we wanted to go to was further than we expected. We walked for abt 30mins while carrying those heay stuff. Anyway, along the way, we bought dunkin' donuts! Haha. Been wanting to eat tt. Anyway, after a long walk to our destination, we finally sat down in a Jap restaurant to eat. After eating we went in search of a tailor to make my sis n i suits. Haha. shiok sia. Did it at e first shop we entered. Haha. the whole suit costs $131. Okay right. tailor-made leh. Buying a ready made one at G2000 would need $80 lo. After taking our measurements n everything we went back to our hotel.

Didn't wake up to eat breakfast in the hotel on Thurs morning. Cos we were going to eat dim sum in e afternoon! haha. Shopped for a while before gg to eat. Went to the Grand Hyatt. The place v class leh, luckily, we were going to eat the dim sum not the int'l buffet cos there was a dress code for the buffet. Ha. Anyway, we ordered peking duck.Yay! haha. Super nice. Aiya, everything there was nice la. Eat there v shiok. Haha. And it all cost under S$100. Cheap right. If we ate in Sg it'll cost a lot more. After eating, we went shopping again! This time , i did buy things. But this adidas goofy top, 2 more tops. And 2 earrings which i didn't dare to tell my father e price of, cos he'll exclaim at e price of it. Haha. After that we went to Isetan, then went to the supermarket. Bought some stuff again. Then we went to eat steamboat at Coca restaurant. Took the train back, then my sis n i went for fitting for our suits, then we went to a internet cafe where i entered the previous blog.

On Friday, I had breakfast at the hotel. Then we went shopping again. Bought 2 more tops, and a shorts. By that time, my mum, my sis n i were watching our spending cos we were going to be broke. After shopping, we went to Sheraton hotel to eat dinner! Ate at a Italian restaurant where we sat by the river al fresco. Then while we were eating appetisers, we suddenly saw fireworks! Super shiok lo. Itz like right out of a movie, u know, eating by a river at a high class restaurant, and there's fireworks. Too bad the company's wrong. Haha. Anyway, we went into e restaurant when it started to threaten to rain. The food's not bad lah, juz tt e serving size was v big, and cos there was free flow of bread, n the bread was really nice, so we were super full at e end of dinner. Ordered tiramisu for dessert. quite nice la. Went back to the hotel after dinner. On e way home there was atraffic jam. The driver even asked us to get down to take a train back cos we might be stuck in e jam for abt an hr. haha. But we decided to continue la. in e end it only took 30mins.

On Sat, we woke up and started packing our stuff. Then we went to collect my sis n my suits. Then we went to the weekend market and shopped. But it was super hot that day la, so we were all sweating like pigs. Bought quite a lot of things, accessories n stuff. Decided to stop shopping halfway cos we couldn't stand the heat anymore. Then we went to Emporium, where we bought several things more, my mother bought v beautiful roses. Then we went back to the hotel, packed our stuff n waited for our ride to the airport.

Was in a bad mood at the airport, shan't mention y. But i had a bad flight back la. My ear was blocked so seriously my neck was aching. Anyway, it was good to be back in Singapore where everything seems so familiar. Reached home at 12, unpacked, stuffed my clothes into my cupboard, threw some of my stuff on my table, and went to slp.

Okay that's all for my trip. All in all, i had a great time shopping. Thank God for keeping the pickpockets, cheating taxi drivers and everything else other tourists complain abt away from us. When we were there, my sis n i kept scolding our father, cos he kept refusing the carry the shopping bags. I know, most of them are our stuff, but he's a man. He can help right? Ask us to take still okay, push to my mother to take somemore. So pek chek with him sometimes. Haiz.

Anyway, while there, i noticed a lot of middle-aged ang moh guys with v pretty, long-haired, dressed sexily Thai girls. Itz practically a trend there. I think they're either married, or the girls are social escorts. Don't misunderstand, i have nth against them, it was juz an observation. Itz a little like Singaporeans maryying Vietnamese. Don't u think?

Anyway, ppl, don't come asking me for souveneirs kay. Cos i spent every single cent i had there. So didn't have any excess cash for souveneirs. If i bought for one person, i'll have to buy for everybody else. So except for the 3 ppl, who shld noe hu they are, i was heartless this time n didn't buy anything as souveniers. Hehe. Don't blame me hor. But i don't know who u shld blame.

This stupid blogger is really stupid. The first entry i typed, it deleted it away. Same thing happened to the second one. SO i pek chek dun wanna type anymore. Shall juz tell u guys what i did in short sentences.

On Fri, after working at Coffee club and teaching tuition, i met rena and the rest for dinner. Went to marina sq which was a bad idea cos candy n flo weren't familiar with the place and we had to wait for them while they lost their way n found their way to us. Ate at this Shanghainese restaurant which wasn't that good. Went home after eating.

On Sat, went to the Chinese Garden with my cousins n sis. It was super humid that night, so we were all sweating after the first 15mins. haha. after taking a lot of photos n walking ourselves tired, we went home.

Sun, went to church. then to compass pt, then to my ahma hse. Played mahjong cos the adults weren't there. ordered kfc for dinner. then we waited for my cousin's bf to fetch us home. Reached home at 1.

Slacked at home on Mon. Actually wanted to pack my things a little at a time throughout the day. But i wasted the whole day away watching tv, and only started packing at 11. Haha. Sian right.

Anyway, i'm now in Bangkok, in an internet cafe. Not really updating u guys on what i did, bought n ate here, cos i dun think there's enough time. But i am enjoying my time here, and my sis n father are contemplating migrating here.. haha. My sis' in love with the supermarket, the dunkin' donuts. Dunno what else to say le. But i've eaten a lot la, and spent a lot too. And i'm prepared to spend more! haha.

Only had tuition on Tues, so spent the rest of the day slacking. Then I had a 12-10 schedule on Wed, so spent the whole day working. Corrin n her fren amanda came for the interview and they got the job, which is good, haha.

On thurs, which is today, met keigo, corrin and daisy to eat sakae. Keigo was full of rubbish again, kept us all laughing. He's really acting like he's 12! Haha. Anyway, didn't eat much this time. Not sure y, mayb itz cos keigo and daisy finished eating soon, so corrin n i didn't feel like eating much after that. Keigo left after eating, and the 3 of us walked ard century sq. Went into metro, and we started fidgeting with all the toys. Saw the polly pockets they're selling now, and itz juz so different from the ones we used to have. Rmb the shell like boxes, and the tiny figurines? Now they're as big as the Kelly barbie dolls, and the houses can not fit into our pockets anymore. So y are they still called polly pockets? And saw the board games and such. I wanna play monopoly! Haven't played it in a looong time, mayb 7yrs? And guess what, we sat down at a table available and started playing with lego. Hahaha. Stupid right. think we sat there for abt an hr. I made a car which ended up looking more like a boat, haha, corrin n daisy both made houses.

After satisfying the children in us, we actually wanted to take neoprints, but the one at century sq wasn't opened yet. Then we went to the one in TM, but when we were choosing which machine to use, corrin's bf called to tell her he has reached. So couldn't take lor. Haha. Went home after that.

Spent the whole day slacking at home on Sat. I actually wanted to pack my room, etc. But as usual, my laziness got the better of me n i didn't do it. Haha.

Went home after church on Sunday to take a quick nap before going to work. And guess what? Howard from An Eye for a Guy 2 went to coffee club that day! Rmb him? He's that 2nd last guy, and he was very romantic and sweet to the girl. Anyway, Elvina got quite excited, first time see her excited over a guy. Haha. He's actually not very handsome, juz that all the things he did on the show endeared himself to the public. And he's quite thin. Business was slow that night, as per usual on Sun nights. We finished closing by 2210 and left at 2230. Fast right. Reached home at 2330.

Went to work the next morning. An accident happened. There was sth wrong with a table but we didn't noe lah. Then when this caucasian guy sat down the entire table flipped up and hit his chin and it bled. Scared me lor, so i quickly passed him a serviette. A very nice lady sitting at the next table gave him a plaster. Then he went to the toilet to wash up and we kept the table for him lah. But i was thinking if he would come back or not. Haha. He did, and he was v nice abt it. We gave him a 25% discount. And u know what? He gave us a $3 tip. Nice right. And there was this couple who saw what happened and was like "xing4 zai1 le4 huo4". Shan't say what they said, cos i can't really rmb, haha, but they were really just making unnecessary and unwanted comments. Turns out they made the same comments to my colleague too.

There was another convention going on, this time itz the ISO thing. And there were a lot of French. Kept hearing them. Haha. Accompanied Sharon to see doctor after work. Wanted really long for the doctor, abt one n a half hrs. Seems that the doc is real popular cos most ppl who went there were looking for him. Anyway, we finally left at 5sth, Sharon went back to work while i went home. I actually wanted to take a nap when i went home after work, but after waiting for the doc with Sharon, that plan juz went down the drains. Haha.

My mother made the chicken in wine for dinner that night. She hasn't cooked that in a long time. But she put a lot of wine so i felt a bit hot after finishing my meal. I really can't drink or take alcohol. My mother can drink better than me. I told her that i felt she put a lot of wine in, but she said she didn't. Which shows how much my mum can drink n how much i can't. Haha.

I've actually wanted to blog abt this thing for a long time, but i kept forgetting. Itz abt the other time when i said that ppl who know me well enough would know that i don't buy imitation. And after receiving some feedback from my friends, not a lot, only two, i realised that ppl ard me really do not know that i don't like to buy or use imitation. Perhaps even my sis. Really leh. Guess itz cos i nv show it, or shop often with my friends. As in, I kinda like to shop alone. I don't have to worry abt letting somebody wait for me while i choose a colour, or while i try out sth. When i go out with my friends I'm juz walking ard, accompanying them rather than really looking for stuff.

Anyway, went out with Cheng Rena and Candy this evening. Was actually supposed to go kbox, but Candy didn't wan to go n we planned to go to watch a movie. But i didn't feel like spending $9.50 and perhaps more cos of popcorn, on a horror or suspense movie. We went shopping instead, and spent on neo-prints again... Shall post the pics up another day. Waitting for Rena to scan them up.

We went shopping ard Cine, then Far East. By the time we finished Far East it was 2130-ish. Then candy wanted to go to the Watson's at wisma to look at some things, so we went there, and went to take a cab after that. Wanted quite a while for a cab cos v little cabs went to that area. Itz always at times like that that i wish that one of us had a bf who has a car. Anyway, our cab trip took 20bucks, cos it took 10bucks to go to amk from orchard. Lucky we were sharing.

I had 2 pleasant surprises today. When i was going to teach tuition at abt 11 in e morning, i saw vincent at the bus stop. Didn't expect to see him, and i didn't expect him to recognize me. Haha. Then while i was on e cab nearing my hse juz now, Eugene called me on his hse phone. And i didn't save that number, so itz like i was wondering who's this guy asking whether i had changed my home number or not. Kookoo right, didn't even identify himself. Haha. Anyway, he was calling me to update our pri sch contact list. Itz been 2 yrs since our chalet. Wah..... 2 yrs really seem a long time ago. But i still rmb what we did, n all those stuff. Guess i miss them. In e end, i'll have to help him type out the contact list cos he know's that i'm having my hols currently, while they JC ppl have to mug. Haha, nvm.

Went to work on Wed afternoon. And there were a lot of things that were sold out again. So... Anyway, there's this convention going on at the raffles convention centre, think it's sth to do with the newly opened desalination plant in Sg, cos I saw their tags and those ppl are from what water tech companies or sth from all over the world. So there're a lot of these guys in suits like whole day round, and they're quite good tippers. Haha.

Had a tiring day today, which is Thursday. Met Corrin, Daisy, her bf Ronald, and Keigo. Went to eat Mac's, then went to the Changi Beach Club. Keigo Ronald n I went to the gym while Corrin n Daisy went to swim. After a while keigo n ronald went to join them while i bathed. Sat down to tan and talk when i joined them. Then we moved over to the baby pool. And Corrin found out that keigo was ticklish which was a disaster for him. Haha. But he found a way out. He would juz threaten to splash me with water which kinda worked quite well cos i couldn't afford to get wet. Haha. He even chased me lor. Stupid. Haha. Can't believe he's acting like a 12 yr old when he's 21.

After they bathed we took a looong walk down to changi village. But the scenery was quite good lah. When we finally reached changi village, we bought drinks, and i bought this super huge coconut. Haha, quite nice lah, but not sweet n cold enough. Then we bought nasi lemak to eat. And that Daisy hor. I told her i wanted fish, as in the type we usually have for nasi lemak. But she mistook me and thought i wanted to fish cake. Haha. Nvm. And i bought roti john with much anticipation, but it didn't turn out the kind i like. I miss the one in Geylang!! This one had v little ingredients and quite tasteless actually. But the one at geylang was delicious. It had tomato sauce, then egg, onions, minced meat. Shiok man! Think itz been years since i ate that.

After eating, we let Daisy n ronald go on the romantic walk down the beach.... Haha, while e 3 of us went home. Anyway, during dinner we came up with this split personality for keigo, which is keigo - the good one, and yew kai - the bad one. Yew kai's his chinese name btw. It was juz so crappy lah. Haha. The 3 of us were super tired on the way back, we kept yawning and tearing. Haha. And we might be going blading next week. Can u imagine the mess it will be? Keigo's the only who knows how to, so he'll be teaching us! Haha. Die ar.

Been a long time since i've felt so satisfyingly tired. Not since i dunno, can't rmb. But i miss the vball trg days. It sounds weird, but i miss trg. Although they were tough, it was fun! Coach made it fun. I know there were a lot of unhappy stuff, but we had fun most of the times.

Went to work at 11 on Saturday. Put in a short day that day, worked for 4 hrs only. Went home after that, and slacked the whole day through. Haha. Watched tv while reading a book. That's how i passed my Saturday.

Went to church on Sun morning without my sis. We had this forum after service, and the topic was "Is God to be Blamed?" I guess the title is quite telling abt what the forum is abt. It was Sept 11 that day, so of cos we were talking abt all the bad things that happened all ard the world since that day in 2001. The forum wasn't like enlightening, as the adults didn't tell us why God allowed all those things to happen, or they weren't able to. But they certainly made accepting easier. Realised that some of the things that happened were man-made, so to speak. And we would never be able to know y God allowed or did all those things. Else we will proclaim ourselves god if we knew everything. There will always be certain things that are kept secret.

After the forum, i went to wait for my parents at the sanctuary. Then we took a cab down to PS. My dad actually wanted to take a train down. But i told him that if we took a train, we'll spend more than if we took a cab instead. Haha. Went to eat at Secret Recipe. Their service was a little sucky, with a little redeeming points, else i'll say quite sucky. Their lamb stew is nice, the stew was good. And the serving size's big. Don't try their chicken with cheese thing. It was deep-fried over and over again. So it wasn't fresh and it was dry. But their cakes' good.

Then we went to Robinson's where my mother shopped but bought nth. And it was to Spotlight after that. my mother wanted to stock up on her wool for knitting while there was a sale. Haha. So she bought like 3 different colours. And one more for my sis. Coincidentally, my sis was coming down to PS with my cousin, Ah qin, and my xiaogu and xiaogu zhang. Met them at best denki, where we bought a small hi-fi set for my popo. Then cos my parents wanted to go down to my ahma's hse first, they went off first. So the rest of continued to shop ard. Then another cousin of mine, ah bao came down with her mum. We spent like 20mins in robinson's cos ah qin was deliberating over which brand of multi-vitamins to buy. Haha.

Then we continued to walk walk, went to marks and spencer, where i bought biscuits, and pasta sauce. Saw a lot of other things that i wanted to buy, but i didn't lah, else i'll be broke. ah bao's bf, zhihao and his friend came to meet us. His friend was super tall. Think his abt 190cm? And to make matters worse, his quite big-sized, for an asian. He made my aunt look like a dwarf, haha. Then we went to BK cos my xiao gu and her hubby were going to discuss some insurance matters with zhihao's friend. Obviously, we couldn't all fit into a table at BK, so my sis ah qin and i were sat at a different table beside theirs. Cos ah qin's working as a PA to this financial advisor or sth. So she comes into contact with the insurance plans of many coys. So she was telling us abt this savings plan and i'm now contemplating whether to get it. But will have to save up a certain sum first.

Went home after that. Ate instant noodles for my dinner. Sad right. While my parents ate dinner at my popo's hse and my sis was being treated at this Thai restaurant in Centrepoint. That's all for my Sunday.

Spent my whole day at coffee club on Monday. It was a good tips day. Received several $4 and above tips. Generous right? haha. There was once this guy who paid 10bucks for a cup of cappucino. Cos he left the change as tips. Haha. And i finally saw sb leaving tips while using credit card payments. Then Alice said i sua gu cos she has seen a lot of times le. Haha. But really, v few ppl give tips if they're using credit cards. At 8, all our food started getting sold out. All our cakes were sold out, there weren't anymore sandwiches, half the menu was gone. Sad right? So i had to repeat the same thing to all the customers. Are they having their meal here ot just having desserts? Then i'll tell them the things that are available. Sian. Haha.

Slept abt 11 hrs that night. I must have been tired. Was going meet my cousins ahqin and ahbao for lunch with my sis yday afternoon. After lunch my sis n i went to e national lib. We sat down to read, and i went off at 3 cos i had tuition at 4. Took a cab down cos i'll definitely be late if i took a bus. I ended up reaching 15mins earlier. So i sat down at e void deck. Waited till it was time b4 i went up.

Rushed down to Suntec after e tuition cos was meeting Liz n Cheryl to watch longest yard at 7. But the bus was caught in a stupid jam for 20 mins. so i got down at aljunied and took a train down. Reached there at abt 1920. Liz came out to pass me e tic n we went in. Luckily, there weren't many ppl in a cinema. Haha.

The show was great. Then men were really really funny. Okay, for those of u who don't know what the story's abt, it's abt this guy who was a MVP while he was playing American football. Then he went to jail. And he was forced by the warden to form a football team out of the cons so that the guards could thrash them so as to build their confidence. Anyway, the guards aren't like those u see or imagine in our very own Changi Prison. They'll grab any chance to beat the cons up, and don't think too much abt killing them. So the cons grabbed at the chance to get back at e guards.

The show was funny in that the characters were hilarious, and their jokes were great. Ya, and Cheryl likes this huge black man who had the mind n heart of a child. He's so cute! Sad thing is Adam Sandler didn't make much jokes like his previous movies where he was so funny. But nvm, the other guys more than made up for it. Haha. I encourage everybody to go watch it!

Anyway, went home after the movie cos Liz n I couldn't think of anywhere to go. Cheryl went for her yoga lesson in Orchard.
